Teacher's Day

In October the students gave the teachers a great treat. Their "Teacher's Day" is an annual event at which students from the 12th form or grade teach and the teachers are allowed a few hours break. The parents of the 12th graders gave us a special treat in the teachers' room. There were beautiful decorations, food and drinks, and many thanks from parents and teachers alike.
Later that day we all went to the local house of culture where there was a concert. The theme of the concert seemed to be a beauty pageant. Most of the performances were very amusing.
This is one of our classrooms.
Below is the table prepared for us by students' parents.

This is a poem students decorated inviting teachers to the celebration.

Shelbi and one of her partners, Lilia, enjoyed the party together.

Our director gave a thanks to the teachers and parents.

This appears to be a book until you look closely at the side. There is a lever where wine is dispensed. We all joked because there is a saying in Romanian, that means "The one who knows the book has four eyes." We all claimed to be gaining eyes as we tasted the wine.
Some fellow teachers are below. The one with black hair is Irina, one of John's partner teachers.
