Back to the Beginning:

Here are some pictures from when we received our official invitations. The date was 3 November, 2011. I was happy to find these pictures today, because we are currently on the verge of "swearing in" as official Peace Corps Volunteers. In just a few day's time, we will have pictures showing our official welcoming ceremony (post-training) at which point we can say, "We are volunteers." These pictures below show our excitement at the moment of receiving invitations to Moldova. As we opened our envelopes and read 'Moldova,' we both turned to each other and in synchronization asked, "Where's Moldova." We have come a long way from that moment.
